ThermOmegaTech freeze protection valves safeguard pipes from damage caused by temperatures below 32F. For a minimal investment, equipment owners can implement mechanical automation to ensure frozen pipes won’t interrupt operations and cause thousands of dollars in damage.

Freeze protection valves are designed to sense the water or air temperature and will automatically modulate open to bleed off the cold water when temperatures approach freezing. Once the valve opens, warmer water from the resupply will flow through the line, preventing it fromfreezing. Once the water temperature in the line is back above the freeze danger range, the valve will modulate closed again to conserve water.
