Crane L47XUF Cast Carbon Steel Gate Valves

CRANE L47XUF series valves are the Low Emissions version of the Figure 47XUF Gate Valves. They are efficient stop valves with flow in either direction. 

These gate valves feature a Cast Carbon Steel body, Outside Screw and Yoke, bolted bonnet, handwheel actuator, and straight-through ports that assure minimum turbulence, erosion, and flow resistance. L47XUF valves are designed very similarly to the butt-welded L47½XU valves, except they use flanged end connections. They are are available in a 2” to 24” size, Class 150, and they rated for use up to 285 psi at -20 deg F to 100 deg F.

Crane L47XUF Gate Valves are constructed with robust features that boost their performance and longevity. The first is an enhanced Type 410 Stainless Steel and Cobalt base alloy trim ("XU" spec) which includes a seat ring that is seal-welded to eliminate leak paths. The second is the flexible wedge disc ("F" spec) that compensates for body deformation due to stress on the piping system. These durable and reliable features make L47XUF valves the ultimate dependable service for the harsh environments of steam, oil, oil vapor, gas, and high-pressure applications.
