Crane L151XU Cast Carbon Steel Globe Valves

CRANE L151XU series valves are the Low Emissions version of the Figure L151XU Globe Valves. They are efficient stop valves with flow in either direction. They are also highly efficient for services requiring frequent operation and throttling when pressure drop across the valve is about, but no more than, 20 percent of inlet pressure.

These gate valves feature a Cast Carbon Steel body, Outside Screw and Yoke, bolted bonnet, handwheel actuator, and straight-through that are oriented at right angles to the pipe axis. These valves are constructed very similarly to Crane’s L151½XU valves that have butt-welded ends, except L151XU valves use flanged end connections. They are available between 2” to 16” in size and Class 300, and they rated for use up to 285 psi at -20 deg F to 100 deg F.

Crane L151XU Globe Valves are made with an enhanced Type 410 Stainless Steel and Cobalt alloy trim (“XU” spec) to elevate valve performance and longevity. The trim also includes a seal-welded seat ring that eliminates leak paths. The durability and reliability of these globe valves make them the perfect dependable service for the harsh environments of (steam, oil, oil vapor, gas, and high-pressure applications.
