Crane L151½XU Cast Carbon Steel Globe Valves

CRANE L151½XU series valves are the Low Emissions version of the Figure L151½XU Globe Valves. They are efficient stop valves with flow in either direction. They are also highly efficient for services requiring frequent operation and throttling when pressure drop across the valve is about, but no more than, 20 percent of inlet pressure.

These gate valves feature a Cast Carbon Steel body, Outside Screw and Yoke, bolted bonnet, handwheel actuator, and straight-flow ports that are oriented at right angles to the pipe axis. Similarly to Crane’s L151XUF valves that have flanged ends, these valves are available between 2” to 16” in size and in Class 300, but L151½XUF valves have butt-welded ends They are also available up to 285 psi at -20 deg F to 100 deg F.

Crane L151½XU Globe Valves are constructed with an upgraded Type 410 Stainless Steel and Cobalt base alloy trim (“XU” spec) to elevate valve performance and service life. This trim eliminates leak paths by using a seal-welded seat ring. The durability and reliability of these globe valves allows these valves to be perfectly suited for the demanding environments of numerous applications.
