Crane L143XU Cast Carbon Steel Globe Valves

CRANE L143XU series valves are the Low Emissions version of the Figure 143XU Globe Valves. They are efficient stop valves with flow in either direction, and they are ideal for throttling service. 

These gate valves feature a Cast Carbon Steel body, Outside Screw and Yoke, bolted bonnet, handwheel actuator, and straight-flow ports that are oriented at right angles to the pipe axis. These valves are built very similarly to Crane's L143½XUF valves that have butt-welded end connections, except L143XUF valves have flanged end connections. They are both available between 2” to 16” size and Class 150, and they are rated for use up to 285 psi rating at -20 deg F to 100 deg F.

Crane L143XU Globe Valves come with an upgraded Type 410 Stainless Steel and Cobalt base alloy trim (“XU” spec) to enhance valve performance and longevity. The trim also includes a seal-welded seat ring that eliminates leak paths. The durability and reliability of these globe valves make them the ultimate dependable service for a range of applications.
