The ESS Emergency Safety Shower Water Heater is a factory packaged tepid water system designed to supply on-demand tepid water to emergency drench systems. This heavy duty water heater is constructed of a carbon steel tank and internally lined with 1/2 in thick hydrastone cement to ensure tank longevity when operating at elevated temperatures and is fully insulated with 3 in thick polyurethane foam. The ESS Water Heater is a packaged system designed to satisfy ANSI Z358.1-2014 requirements for tepid water delivery to an emergency drench system. The unit uses the Therm-O-Mix® WWM Mixing Valve to combine hot and cold water to an OSHA approved 85 deg F and will continue to even if electricity is interrupted.
