Spirax Sarco 1436092, FT46-4.5 Ball Float and Thermostatic Steam Trap, 2 in, ANSI 300 Flange, 287 deg F, 65 psig, 316 Austenitic Stainless Steel
CBPN:208036
MPN:1436092
DESCRIPTION
Spirax Sarco Ball Float and Thermostatic Steam Trap, 2 in Nominal, ANSI 300 Flange, 230 mm Length, 65 psig, 316 Austenitic Stainless Steel, 287 deg F
The FT46 is an austenitic stainless steel bodied ball float steam trap having stainless steel working internals and automatic air venting facility. The body and cover castings are produced by a TUV approved foundry. The trap is supplied with integrally flanged connections and can be maintained without disturbing the pipework.
Spirax Sarco FT46 Steam Traps are convenient to maintain as they can be serviced without disrupting piping connections. Nonetheless, prior to any maintenance, it's crucial to fully isolate the trap from both the supply and return lines. Periodic disassembly of the trap is necessary for thorough inspection and cleaning of its valve head and seat, operating mechanism, and air vent. Any worn or damaged components should be replaced using an air vent assembly or complete valve mechanism assembly. The Spirax FT46 spare parts include a Valve Mechanism Kit with Erosion Deflector, packet of 3 Gasket sets, set of Cover Bolts and Nuts, and an Air Vent Assembly.
