Cooney Brothers is proud to partner with Viega to bring our customers a large range of Viega MegaPressG Fittings and Viega MegaPressG Ball Valves that come in nearly 150 different configurations. Fittings are available from ½” to 2 x 2 x 1-½” in nominal size and they all come with HNBR sealing elements, indicated by a white dot. MegaPressG Fittings are also available in various fitting/connector types, including elbows, adapters, caps, flanges, tees, unions, and couplings, as well as a range of end styles, including Fitting x Press, Press, Press x FNPT, Press x MNPT, and Press x Press x FNPT. MegaPressG Ball Valves are available in Bronze as well as Carbon Steel with full port, ½ to 4” size range and HNBR softgoods material. They are also available in 125 and 250 psi and a variety of end connections including Press, Press x FNPT, and Press x MNPT.
MegaPressG is the first Carbon Steel press system compatible for gas applications up to 4” and they can be used both above ground and underground. This system is approved for applications that use fuel, oil or gas, like diesel, natural gas, transmission fluid, compressed air, and more. They can reduce installation time and eliminate messy cutting oils compared to other traditional joining methods using their highly secure and effective press fit technology.
