Gruvlok Grade O Gaskets

Gruvlok Grade O Gaskets are the top-performing pipe-fitting gaskets because their optimal gasket grading ensures a maximum service life. This gasket forms a leak-proof seal when it is properly insulated as this tightly compresses its inclined gasket lips onto the pipe OD. Coupling housings reinforce this seal by encompassing and compressing the gasket. The application of internal line pressure also further reinforces the sealing action and it energizes the elastometric gasket.

Cooney Brothers is proud to bring our customers an authorized distribution of Gruvlok O Gaskets from 1” to 12” in size. They are considered “special” gaskets, and they are rated for use within a 20 to 300 degree Fahrenheit temperature range. These gaskets are made of Fluoro-Elastomer material with blue color coding and they are designed to be used with Figure 7000-4 and 7400-01 Couplings.

Grade O Gaskets are intended to be used with specific applications because of their excellent oxidation resistance and tight sealing capabilities. Some of these applications include high temperature resistance to oxidizing acids, as well as supporting petroleum oils, hydraulic fluids, halogenated, hydrocarbons and lubricants.
