Gruvlok Grade L Gaskets

Gruvlok Grade L Gaskets are dependable pipe-fitting gaskets, ensuring a maximum service life through their optimal gasket grading capabilities. When properly insulated, this gasket forms a leak-proof seal because its gasket lips are then compressed onto the pipe OD. Coupling housings reinforce this seal by encompassing and compressing the gasket. The application of internal line pressure also energizes the elastometric gasket and further enhances the gasket sealing action.

Cooney Brothers is proud to be an authorized distributor of Gruvlok L Gaskets from 1” to 12” in size. They are considered “special” gaskets, and they are rated for use within a -40 to 350 degree Fahrenheit temperature range. These gaskets are made of silicone with red color coding and they are designed to be used with Figure 7000-4 and 7400-01 Lightweight Flexible Couplings.

Offering excellent oxidation resistance and tight sealing, Grade L Gaskets are intended to be used with specific applications including dry, hot air, and some high temperature chemical services.
