Gruvlok Grade E Gaskets

Gruvlok Grade E Gaskets are efficient pipe-fitting gaskets that ensure a maximum service life through optimal gasket grading capabilities. This gasket forms a leak-proof seal when it is properly insulated as this tightly compresses its inclined gasket lips onto the pipe’s outside diameter. Coupling housings reinforce this seal by encompassing and compressing the gasket. The application of internal line pressure also energizes the elastometric gasket and further enhances the gasket sealing action.

Cooney Brothers is proud to carry a variety of Gruvlok E Gaskets from 1" to 24" in size. These gaskets are considered “standard” and they are rated for use within a -40 to 230 degrees Fahrenheit temperature range. They are made of EPDM material with green color coding and they are designed to be used with either Figure 7010 Couplings, 7005 and 7305 Couplings, 7000-4 and 7400-01 Couplings, 7012 and 7013 Couplings, or 7045 and 7046 Couplings. Our selection offers FlushGap options as well.

With excellent oxidation resistance and tight sealing, Grade E Gaskets are intended to be used with specific applications that don’t involve hydrocarbons, oils, or gases. Some of these applications include water service, dilute acids, alkalies solutions, oil-free air, salts, and many other chemical services.
