Everlasting Valve 4060A and 4061A Slow Opening Boiler Blowdown Valve

Everlasting Valve 4060A and 4061A Boiler Blowdown Valves are slow-opening and can be installed with the hand wheel in any position. Featuring a straight-through flow, the leak-proof, cast-iron sealing disc has self-lapping action that actually improved with use, and has self-wiping action meaning it cannot get hung-up on boiler scale. Plus, that's no retightening needed after cool-down as the seal is not affected by temperature changes. 

How do the Everlasting 4060 and 4061 valves operate? Line pressure and the heavy spring hold the cast iron disc firmly against the body seat, sealing off the flow. When operated, the disc slides across the body seat pushing harmful boiler scale away, and wiping clean the precision lapped surfaces. The post packing self-adjusts by a spring and line pressure, preventing destructive erosion or leakage of stuffing box.
