Crane L47LUF-N Cast Carbon Steel Gate Valves

CRANE L47LUF-N series valves are the Low Emissions version of the Figure 47LUF-N Gate Valves. They are efficient stop valves with flow in either direction.

These gate valves feature a Cast Carbon Steel body, Outside Screw and Yoke, bolted bonnet, handwheel actuator, and straight-through ports that assure minimum turbulence, erosion, and flow resistance. Similarly to Crane’s L47½XUF valves that use butt-welded ends, they are available between 2” to 24” in size and are Class 150, but L47LUF-N valves have flanged ends. They are both rated for use up to 285 psi at -20 deg F to 100 deg F.

Crane L47LUF-N Gate Valves are designed with superior features that enhance valve performance and service life. The first is an upgraded Type 316 Austenitic Stainless Steel and Cobalt base alloy trim (“LU” spec) that can eradicate any leak paths using a seal-welded seat. The second is the flexible wedge disc (“F” spec), which is specifically constructed to compensate for body deformation that is caused by stress in the piping system. This trim and set of features allow L47LUF-N valves to be efficiently prepared for the intense conditions of steam, oil, oil vapor, gas, and high-pressure applications.
