Crane L47UF Cast Carbon Steel Gate Valves

CRANE L47UF series valves are the Low Emissions version of the Figure 47UF Gate Valves. They are efficient stop valves with flow in either direction. 

These gate valves feature a Cast Carbon Steel body, Outside Screw and Yoke, bolted bonnet, handwheel actuator, and straight-through ports that assure minimal turbulence, erosion, and flow resistance. L47UF valves are constructed very similarly to the butt-welded L47½XU valves, except they use flanged end connections. They are available in 2” to 24” size, 150 Class, and they are rated for use up to 285 psi at -20 deg F to 100 deg F. 

Crane L47UF Gate Valves come with robust features, as indicated in the “UF” specs, that enhance valve performance and longevity. The first is an enhanced weld deposited Cobalt base alloy trim (“U” spec) which includes a seal-welded seat ring to eliminate leak paths. Second is the flexible wedge disc (“F” spec) which compensates for body deformation due to stress on the piping system. These durable features and trim allow L47UF valves to act as the perfect service go-to for the demanding environments of steam, oil, oil vapor, gas, and high-pressure applications.
