Crane L33XUF Cast Carbon Steel Gate Valves

CRANE L33XUF series valves are the Low Emissions version of the Figure 33XUF Gate Valves. They are efficient stop valves with flow in either direction. These gate valves are commonly used where a minimum pressure drop is important. 

These Gate Valves feature a Cast Carbon Steel body, Outside Screw and Yoke, bolted bonnet, handwheel actuator, and straight-through ports that assure minimal turbulence, erosion, and flow resistance. L33XUF valves are constructed very similarly to the butt-welded L33½XU valves, except they use flanged end connections. They are both available in sizes 2" up to 24" and Class 300, and they are rated for use up to 740 psi at -20 deg F to 100 deg F. 

There are two important benefits of Crane L33XUF Gate Valves: First is the seal-welded seat ring that eliminates leak paths. Second is the flexible wedge disc (“F” spec) which compensates for body deformation due to stress on the pipes. Their enhanced Type 410 Stainless Steel and Cobalt base alloy trim (“XU” spec) provides extended service life and improved performance to the demanding environments of steam, oil, oil vapor, gas, and high-pressure applications.
