Crane 28E Iron Straight Stop Check Valve

CRANE 28E Iron Straight Stop Check Valves feature an iron body, including bolted bonnet and outside screw and yoke, as well as a bronze trim, disc and disc seal, an internal body blowout preventer, and a stainless-steel rising stem. Available in sizes 1/4" to 3” and in Class 250, these valves use flanged ends and a straight-way Y-pattern design to ensure straight, secure flow.

Crane 28E Stop Check Valves are designed to allow flow in one direction and prevent reverse flow specifically in steam applications that operate between 100 and 250 psig. They offer precise manual control over steam flow in boiler systems, chemical processing, and HVAC systems, and they can be positioned in horizontal line or vertical line for upward flow. The stop check feature of this valve requires a minimum of 50 psi pressure differential between piping system and boiler to operate properly.
