Crane 147XU Cast Carbon Steel Swing Check Valves

CRANE 147XU series valves are efficient swing check valves that allow flow in one direction and prevent the reversal of flow through pipelines. They can be installed in horizontal or vertical, upward flow, piping and they are specifically suited for low velocity service

Crane 147XU Swing Check Valves feature a Cast Carbon Steel body, bolted cap, and stellite seat facing. These valves are constructed very similarly to Crane’s 147½XU valves that have butt-welded ends, except 147LU-N valves use flanged ends. They are both available between 2” to 24” in size, in Class 150, and they rated for use up to 285 psi at -20 deg F to 100 deg F.

These swing check valves are made with a Type 410 Stainless Steel and Cobalt base alloy trim (“XU” spec) to elevate valve performance and longevity. This enhanced trim also includes a seal-welded seat ring that eliminates leak paths. The durability and reliability of these swing check valves make them the perfectly dependable service for the harsh environments of power production, oil and gas, refining, district heating, chemical processing, pulp and paper, food and beverage, petro chemical, marine, wastewater, mining and OEM applications.
