Crane L143½XU Cast Carbon Steel Globe Valves

CRANE L143½XU series valves are the Low Emissions version of the Figure 143½XU Globe Valves. They are efficient stop valves with flow in either direction.

These gate valves feature a Cast Carbon Steel body, Outside Screw and Yoke, bolted bonnet, handwheel actuator, and straight-flow ports that are oriented at right angles to the pipe axis. Similarly to Crane’s L143XUF valves that have flanged ends, they are available between 2” to 16” in size and in Class 150, but L143½XUF valves have butt-welded ends. They are both also rated for use up to 285 psi at -20 deg F to 100 deg F. 

Crane L143½XU Globe Valves are designed with an upgraded Type 410 Stainless Steel and Cobalt base alloy trim ("XU" spec) to enhance valve performance and service life. The trim eliminates leak paths by using a seal-welded seat ring. The durability and reliability of these globe valves make them perfectly suited for the demanding environments of various applications.
